Bret A. Hoxworth MA, LLP

Bret is actively engaged as a privately practicing Master's Level Psychologist with over 20 years of counseling experience in the mental health field, including church-based pastoral care.
Bret earned his Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University, focusing on relationship and family issues. He graduated with Honors.
He has a proven track record in improving the quality of clients’ lives with particular specialty focused on listening and successfully guiding towards inner healing from disorders dealing with anxiety, depression, addictions, childhood traumas, eating issues, mood, cognitive, personality, psychotic, and/or many other difficulties.
Bret counsels individuals, couples, children 8 yr+, families, and groups. He also specializes in EMDR treatment and the Low Energy Neurofeedback (LENS) treatment.
His passion is to help those who are hurting or broken to be restored to a healthier and fuller self-esteem, and/or equip them to make healthier and more balanced connections with others in their lives.
Bret is also a Prepare & Enrich program facilitator for marriage counseling. This program includes surveys for both partners which provides an objective measurement of relationship.
Bret and Steve form an effective team in helping children find healing in their spirits, souls, and bodies from trauma and complex-trauma experiences that have wounded or devastated them in profound ways.
